Ben Fogle returns to Greencajt 2026 – voice for nature and ambassador of a sustainable future

Ben Fogle is a world-renowned British adventurer, author, and one of the most recognizable faces of the BBC. He is widely known as the host of the TV series New Lives in the Wild, through which he has spent years sharing stories of people who have left modern life behind to live in alignment with nature, values, and purpose.

A man who has rowed across the Atlantic, climbed Mount Everest, and explored some of the most extreme parts of the world, Ben Fogle is now far more than a travel adventurer-he has become a true voice for the planet. Through personal expeditions and powerful human stories, he promotes a more responsible relationship with the world we share.

His career began with the first BBC reality format Castaway 2000, and since then he has undertaken a series of remarkable expeditions: racing across Antarctica toward the South Pole, crossing the Rub' al Khali desert, and participating in numerous adventures that have shaped his unique perspective on humanity and the planet.

Following an unforgettable appearance at Greencajt 2024, Ben Fogle returns to Zagreb as a friend of the festival and a powerful international voice supporting its mission-bringing audiences new stories from the edges of the world.

He is a member of the Royal Geographical Society, an ambassador for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, and a patron of the Red Cross and the United Nations.

Title of the talk
NEW LIVES IN THE WILD: BEYOND THE MAP

After years spent on the edges of the world-far from the familiar, beyond routine and comfort-Ben Fogle realized that the most important journeys are not measured in miles, but in shifts of perspective. Beyond the Map is not a place. It is everything that happens when we step outside established frameworks and begin to see the world differently.

At Greencajt, Ben returns with new stories-untold narratives from extreme journeys and encounters with people who live entirely outside the ordinary. His talk raises a question that is just as relevant for life as it is for business today: if we can imagine a different way of living, can we also imagine a different way of developing, leading, and doing business?

This lecture is both a travel spectacle and an inspiring reflection-on the connection between people and the planet, on responsibility, and on the future we build through our own decisions. Ben Fogle comes as a friend of Greencajt and one of the most authentic voices of our time-a voice for the planet and a voice for people-bringing an experience that lingers long after the evening ends.

Because for those who lead organizations, develop strategies, and shape society today, the right direction often begins exactly where the map ends.
